FT335 Ketimine Resin

PROFILE

FT-335 is a low viscosity ketone imine resin, with low viscosity, long pot life, fast curing under high humidity conditions. The product has similar properties to polyamines, and can be used as a latent amine component for cross-linking with epoxy, isocyanate, as well as with other active amine components such as polyaspartate and polyamines.

PROPERTY

• Product viscosity is low, used in coatings have a long pot life.
• Encountered water dissociation , releasing ketones, unblocking primary amines to participate in the reaction. Fast curing for coatings in high humidity environments.
• Chemical corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties.

APPLICATIONS

• As a reactive diluent, it is used in polyaspartate system to reduce viscosity, increase solid content and prolong pot life.
• Can be used as a latent curing agent in epoxy systems.

SHELF LIFE

FT-335 ketimine resin must be stored in tightly sealed containers to prevent from contacting with moisture. Recommended storage temperatures is 0°-30°C (32°-86°F). The shelf life of FT-335 ketimine resin is 6 months when stored in closed original containers.

NOTICE

• FT-335 ketimine resin is combustible and should be stored at a low temperature of 30 ℃. It should be kept away from fire source and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated environment. The storage period is 6 months.
• FT-335 ketimine resin is easy to decompose in case of water vapor, so it must be sealed to prevent water vapor from entering.
